Had to pop into town today to sort out my visa extension and discovered this lovely park just round the corner from the Public Security Bureau in Pudong district.

The park itself is centred around a small lake, with a very well maintained walkway all around its edge. There are also several “themed” sections around the park, for example a forest theme, folk village and even an ‘exotic zone’ which I unfortunately ran out of time to visit!

To get around the park it’s very convenient just to walk, but if the Shanghai summer heat is too much you can just hire bikes or be driven around on the golf-buggies.

Although I wouldn’t make a special trip to visit this park, it’s a lovely place to hang out and relax if you are in the area.
