To celebrate the end of exams, myself and some friends headed to the Cambridge Botanic Gardens. These lovely gardens, located to the south of the town, include a wide variety of plants from around the world as well as a substantial research garden.

We spent an hour or so relaxing on one of the lawns eating a picnic and enjoying the beautiful weather.

Next we headed into the main greenhouse to explore the more exotic plants.

All in all, a lovely relaxing afternoon hanging out with friends. I would say though that if you’re visiting Cambridge as a tourist I wouldn’t list it as a must-see, particularly considering the expensive entrance fee for non-students.
