In front of the International Commodities Market every evening local street sellers gather with their carts, gazebos or picnic blankets of goods for the Zhengding Night Market.
Literally everything seemed to be on sale here, from clothes to kids toys and, of course, delicious street food. Wandering around I managed to buy a fake Adidas shirt (40 RMB), some slip on trainers (70 RMB), new headphones (50 RMB) and kebabs (10 RMB).
Just as we were about to leave, we stumbled across a group of local women square dancing in front of the mall – so much fun!
Definitely a great shopping trip, although a little crowded. Unlike similar markets I've been to before, they didn't seem to start with outrageous prices and expect you to haggle down, so often I felt comfortable just paying the original price quoted as they were pretty reasonable. If you're willing to haggle though some of the others got some crazy bargains.
